The Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors, Inc. is an association of BSW Program Administrators, Faculty, Field Directors, and others dedicatd to the promotion of excellence in Baccalaureate social work education.

Our History
BPD began over twenty years ago when a small group of BSW program directors met together to discuss concerns and issues surrounding baccalaureate social work education.  Since that time we have grown into a vibrant organization with hundreds of members from institutions across the United States.  We continue to adovocate for baccalaureate social work education and offer one of the best social work conferences available today.

Our Members
BPD Membership is open to all social work educators and friends of the profession. Our members come from colleges and universities all across the country and work in a number of capacities within university, college, and community systems. BPD members often retain their membership even after retirement and serve as emeritus members of the association.
