Description

Promoting A Culture of Social Justice: Social Work and Social Change

March 17-21, 2010

Atlanta Hilton

Atlanta, GA

As the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Atlanta, the site of our 2010 BPD Annual Conference, is an ideal place to examine how our social work programs can best promote a culture of social change and social justice. What are innovative ways to include social justice and social change in our classrooms? How can we use out of classroom experiences to provide students with the opportunities to create change for social justice?
